Dental Mirror Heads (5-Pack)

I'm not expert on dental equipment, but I can say that, in hand, these IDM Series dental mirrors certainly feel like a professional tool. The textured twisted and finger indented handle is obviously there to accommodate quick and accurate manipulation of the tool; it does look good, but once you've got it in your paw you know it's not about aesthetics. The business end is all stainless steel accept the trade mark branded ILLUCO mirror surface. Which, by the way, is indeed distortion free and super clear. I tried to get that mirror to fog up, and it does for a fraction of a second. By the time it takes to rapidly pull it away from mouth, having blown a full wet breath on the glass, I can see the faint remnants of a hint of fog almost instantly disappearing from the outer perimeter of the mirror.Even the box feels like it is proud to be part of professional tool set. I have found the mirrors to be bright, clear and almost self-cleaning, allowing for smoother and faster procedures. Very glad to have found this product!

I love the bright reflectance and magnification. The light weight is a plus. Unfortunately when tilting the mirror, the image is elongated.

I like them so far, we will see how long they last. For the most part they do what you advertise, but they do get a little foggy film on them. Otherwise, we will probably order some more, especially when you get double sided.

Horrible. When using the cavitron cannot get a clear view. Handle is nice but not as described, very disappointed.

Its average, water stays on the mirror making it hard to see. Its no different from any other mouth mirror.

Cavitron spray can't be light. Needs a stream of water in order for the mirror to be functional and the handles are too long.

The handle allows light or firm finger grip and feels great. The mouth mirror is clearly brilliant and better than any other mouth mirror out there.

I've used everything at this point including ZIRC's which I loved, but these are better plus their 2x mag is really nice. Replaced all my mirrors for these!

I love these mirrors. So bright! Easy for my assistant to keep water droplets off of them.

I found my mirror relection very dull and hard to see clear. This oral mirror really shines.

Lives up to its claims. Looking through this mirror feels like you’ve just boosted your headlamp brightness a notch.

They do not fog, however the water splashing issue is a problem when using an ultrasonic.

Better than most mirrors I have used. It is water resistant only when it faces LARGE drops of water but in the dental-oral environment, its usually a spray and it is absolutely not water resistant then .The water droplets cling to the mirror and my assistant still has to use the air-water syringe to blow it off.

I still can’t see what I’m doing when I’m drilling. Spay still coats the mirror. Waste of my money imho.

Unlike other mouth mirrors, these ILLUCO mirrors just don’t fog! Equally good is that solid particles that usually build up on mouth mirrors roll right off of these! Get some!

I got these for personal use in tooth health. I had one for years where the mirror had finally lost it's silver and come loose. And it had always had a fogging problem. I was really interested in these. They not only don't fog, but the handle is beveled which helps in gripping, and being able to turn the instrument while damp. The lens ensures true images with no distortion, while the water-repellent coating keeps the mirror surface spotless. Where this helps is in the double reflection your having to use, to see into your own mouth. It's tough to keep a tiny area clear in dental mirror and then again in the big bathroom mirror.My hubby grabbed one for use in his computer repair/construction. He's very please with the clear views he can get.I think the company might make better sales of one to a box for personal use. The multiple box is too expensive and unnecessary for the individual. But these sure beat the ones sold for non-doctors.

I ordered these to assist in viewing inside walls and other tight spaces. The mirror surface is good quality and produces no noticeable distortion.

These really are crystal clear and much more effective at reflecting light onto the subject structures.

I went with 2X and they are a game changer.

I bought the 3X mirror and I already use 70 Lumadent Loupes. The problem is unless you hold the mirror at an exact angle the image you see, although very illuminated and wonderful is freakishly distorted, and since we all know, you cannot keep the mirror in the exact perfect position When 99% of all other angles is heavily distorted. I have found this 3X mirror completely and utterly useless.

Wonderful magnification and clarity! If just there was a way to avoid fogging from breath and a sheet if small water droplets from cavitron , it would be awesome !! But overall VERY HAPPY !

This ergonomic and well-built mirror falls short of what was indicated it could do, and I'm overall disappointed.
