How Try Before You Buy Works
Getting Started
To submit a Try-Before-Buy order, on an eligible product page, look for the enable button.
Add to Cart
After enabling the feature, add the product to your cart by using the "Try Before You Buy" button. You will be able to try up to 3 items for 10 days.
Your Cart
You can see that the product has been added to your cart and is marked as "Try Before You Buy for 10 days". You can also add other items to your cart at the same time even if they are not eligible for this feature. Then you will only pay for non-eligible ones at the checkout.
Checkout
On the checkout page, you will see that the total due today is zero. You can also use a discount coupon on the order for future charges. Fill out the checkout information and Place the order.
Post Purchase
You will have 10 days from the delivery date to try the product and keep it if you like. Your payment card will only be authorized for the amount but not charged until the end of the trial period then it will be charged only if you do not submit a return request. You will receive notification and reminder emails on each step of the way.

How does TryNow work?
As a shopper, you select the TryNow purchase option when adding items to your cart. At checkout, you will not be charged. Authorization for the full amount of your order will be placed on your credit card to reserve funds in the event you choose to keep your items, but you will only be charged for kept items. Your trial begins once the package is delivered, at which point you will have the length of the trial to try your items at home, decide what to keep, and return the rest.
Why does TryNow place an authorization on my credit card?
When you checkout, an authorization for the full amount of your order is placed on your card to reserve funds if you choose to keep your items. An authorization is not the same as a charge in that our systems are strictly ensuring that the card that was provided at checkout is both valid and has the appropriate funds available to cover the cost of any items kept in the future. Rest assured that if a refund is required at any point, even after a trial has ended, that refund will be processed. Refunds are processed back to the original form of payment at the time of checkout. Depending on your financial institution, the processing times for this can vary.
When does my trial period start?
Your trial will begin once you receive your package. TryNow works with our Partners to monitor for Carrier updates and when we see your order is delivered you should get a friendly email letting you know that your Trial has begun.
Note: if your order is shipped in multiple packages your Trial will start when the first package is delivered; you can also extend your trial by emailing info@illuco.com to request an extension.
